The most underestimated Alpine flower in the mountains (lat. Carlina acaulis), also known as thistle. This fascinating beauty grows in full sun during the summer months on the Alpine pastures of our region. Unfortunately, it has almost been forgotten that silver thistle also has a healing effect. The essential oils and resins have an antibiotic effect and are used to treat colds.
